Hardware Brainstorm

So he wants to watch Blu-Ray movies and loves music and videos, so we'll need a decent video card, sufficient amount of RAM, sufficiently fast CPU, good sound card (HD sound card as a friend pointed out), and obviously a Blu-Ray player (burner?). Since we're going multi media heavy, I'm considering a TV-tuner so he can also record television shows. Also a remote control of some type, even if a tuner doesn't go in it, would be essential so he can sit back and relax and not have to touch the keyboard to pause, FF, rewind, etc. And definitely wireless keyboard/mouse. Should the keyboard have a mouse integrated? He's used to laptops, and it would allow him to just sit back and have everything in reach.
